Mentoring Workshop – Ready for Anything: Mindfully Achieving Optimal Performance
This will be a virtual event. Registered participants will receive Zoom details for the live webinar before the event.
5:45-6:00 PM - Networking
6:00-8:00 PM - Workshop
Technical project management, with all its guidelines and templates, is relatively easy. The real power to perform, manage, influence, and lead lies in self-management. Self-management enables open-mindedness, resilience, and adaptability to promote healthy relationships and optimal performance. Mindful awareness is the key to self-management.
We are faced with high volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity in our world and there is no way to predict the outcome or the duration of this intense period of change. The project environment may not be as chaotic, but it is rare to find projects that do not experience the strain of unexpected change and less than ideal personal relationships.
- Practice formal and informal mindfulness meditation techniques
- Identify the principal causes of unnecessary stress
- Recognize the key terms and concepts that, with mindfulness, create mindful awareness to promote resilience and the ability to be a positive influencer
- Apply your understanding of mindful awareness to enhance your open-mindedness, resilience, and adaptability
