This first part of this 3.5 hour session will highlight the critical importance of being present and aware as your career, personal and life journey takes twists and turns. Understanding one’s own emotions and responses to the changes around it is the first step. Once this becomes a habit, the purposeful and intentional management of those emotions is the second step. These two steps collectively enable self-mastery.

The presentation will provide a clear understanding of transformation and the responses it evokes. It will highlight the key components and techniques of EI and provide approaches to navigate changes with ease. It is your choice to simply survive the change or to thrive through it.

Project Risk Management planning is something that managers of many organizations believe to be important but often fail to implement. Implementing a risk management process within an organization or for a specific project is considered by many to be too costly and too time consuming and does not produce the value to justify the effort. Risk is therefore ignored until something unfortunate occurs.

The course objectives include creating the perception that risk management is a positive & productive element of project planning, providing risk identification processes that lead to real action, ensure that teams are proactively identifying and responding to potential risk events and opportunities, reinforcing proven risk management methods and introducing creative and effective risk management processes.

The webinar is designed for project managers, project leaders, managers and employees who, by the nature of their job assignments, have direct contact with demanding clients, stakeholders, and difficult people and must establish effective working relationships to obtain requirements, negotiate changes, resolve conflicts, and minimize the effects of undesirable and disruptive behavior.

There is some debate as to whether project management is a profession or simply a methodology but there is no doubt that a well-trained, experienced, and competent professional project manager will make a meaningful, value adding contribution to any organization.

Presentation topics include project management reality, achieving project management maturity, 9 value postulates, defining value and success and developing value metrics.

There is no universal or magic formula that will guarantee a successful career as a project manager or that a project will compete successfully. Project managers face many challenges in the performance of their assignments and at least one key to success is to develop effective leadership habits and skills. It’s all about visualizing the full scope of the project, defining team expectations, maintaining a strong connection with the team and major stakeholders and anticipating potential roadblocks.

This seminar focuses on 6 key skills that project managers should be aware of, develop competence in and continue to upskill through a professional development plan.

This presentation addresses the importance of the professional project manager in today’s business environment and the need for the project manager to continually enhance existing skills, adapt to a changing environment, and become a “go to” person in the organization. Emphasis is placed on understanding the business needs of an organization, clearly & visibly creating value from a client and supplier viewpoint, and continually developing and managing personal brand.
