  The Master Program Management course (PgM) is a comprehensive training class designed for project and program managers who want to learn and apply the latest concepts, domains, tools, and techniques in program management. Based on the latest edition of the Standard for Program Management, this course is a blend of concepts and good practices along with the practical experiences from PMO Advisory's consulting services. The course is conducted over eight hours of real-time meetings (organized into two sessions of 4 hours each), in addition to access to a vast library of pre-recorded materials and templates.

This course is for those want to learn and practice program management, and the approach is based on a combination of traditional lecturing of key concepts, discussion of scenarios and cases and examples, review of important artifacts, and sharing of experiences.

For those who wish to prepare for the Program Management Professional (PgMP) exam, this is not the right course. Please register for one of the PgMP Bootcamps.

 

 

  • Non-Profit - Seven Questions to Ask (PfMP Ultra LV) Class (03/03/26)
  •  Nonprofit organizations often face significant challenges in project execution. The reasons are many, from limited resources to tight schedules, nonprofits often struggle with project performance, especially on the large and complex projects. The goal of this course is to provide a simple yet comprehensive approach for nonprofit professionals to tackle project implementation. The “7 Key Questions” approach has been tried and true across multiple nonprofit and governmental organizations. Throughout this course, we will provide authentic examples and practical steps to make project management work better. If you and your organization struggle with getting big things done, then this course is for you.

 

Jira fundamentals training is targeted for team members and those in an oversight role for technology delivery and sustainment programs. The hands-on training teaches students how to use Jira to manage and track their work in an immersive environment that simulates a large, diverse organization. The course covers Jira fundamentals such as how to create and search for issues, as well as how to use popular Agile methods Scrum and Kanban while putting them in a practical context.

 

  • Jira Intermediate Class (10/05/26 - 10/06/25)
  • Jira intermediate training is targeted for team members and those in an oversight role for technology delivery and sustainment programs. The hands-on training teaches students how to use Jira to manage and track their work in an immersive environment  that simulates a large, diverse organization. Thoughtfully configured and enhanced witha carefully curated set of plugins, the training highlights lessons learned and best practices, demonstrating how effortless Jira can be.

  • DAMA Master Tutorial - Building your AI and Data Governance Initiatives (05/06/2026)

    This workshop is led by Kash Mehdi, founder of the CDO Masterclass program, a global thought leadership initiative that has reached more than 31 countries and certified hundreds of strategic data leaders.

    In this session, Kash shares practical insights on today’s industry shifts as AI moves into the mainstream. He outlines a focused roadmap for the first 100 days of building AI and data governance initiatives, supported by real examples from industries such as BFSI. A core part of the workshop walks through how to establish a Critical Data Element program for Data Governance using AI. DAMA Day 2026 (05/07/26)

DAMA Day is an in-person event at the Bank of China (1045 Avenue of the Americas - NYC) from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET.

AI can revolutionize data management by automating mundane tasks, improving data quality, enabling deeper analysis, and bolstering security and compliance.
