Event Details

This first part of this 3.5 hour session will highlight the critical importance of being present and aware as your career, personal and life journey takes twists and turns. Understanding one’s own emotions and responses to the changes around it is the first step. Once this becomes a habit, the purposeful and intentional management of those emotions is the second step. These two steps collectively enable self-mastery.

The journey continues with a focus on others. It is here that honest perspectives and tough realizations must occur. A focus on others, while exemplifying self-mastery is where leveraging Emotional Intelligence (EI) adds value. At this point, continuing to enhance EI skills and techniques will empower leadership.

The next portion of the presentation will provide a clear understanding of transformation and the responses it evokes. It will highlight the key components and techniques of EI and provide approaches to navigate changes with ease. It is your choice to simply survive the change or to thrive through it.

Building on the foundations of EI and navigating through live, the second part of the master class workshop will introduce specific tools and techniques to enhance and improve personal EI and EI with others. Participants will have the opportunity to assess their own EI status, apply tools/techniques to improve their skill, and create plans of actions for continuous improvement. Some examples of the changes that organizational transformation can bring will be used to assess EIQ. Each step of the journey will be defined, examples given and techniques to enhance and improve the mastery of that step when faced with changes. Please join us to continue your EI mastery.
