Choosing Your DA "Way of Working" (7/18/2023)
SCHEDULE:
Choosing your Agile "Way of Working" |
Day(s): Tuesday |
Meeting Date(s): 7/18/23 |
Start Time: 09:00 AM |
End Time: 12:00 PM |
This disciplined agile workshop is designed to provide attendees with an understanding of DA concepts and the skills needed to apply it effectively to transform their organizations. After a brief interactive introduction to the disciplined agile concept, the participants are asked to work in groups for the DA browser, where they question what creates value for their team. They will use brainstorming techniques about continuous improvement and the minimum viable change (MVC) - the smallest possible change that moves them forward in the change plan they're adopting. Many contradicting constraints are given to the teams, so they need to work together to achieve the final value using the DA toolkit. They will present the final solution at the end of the workshop.
Workshop Agenda:
- 30 Minutes: Welcoming and Understanding the DA Mindset
- 30 Minutes: Learn how to use the DA toolkit
- 1 hour: Use the DA toolkit with a case study
- 30 Minutes: Present the other team with your results
- 30 Minutes: Summarizing and takeaways
Learning Goals: After this course, attendees should be able to:
• Learn to determine the best place for an organization to start.
• Be equipped to tailor an organization’s improvement plan based on their unique needs,
while also paying attention to their culture.
• Know how to accelerate the realization of value by your customers at scale.
• Identify the most effective practices for a situation with the help of the DA™ tool kit, whether it be a new Agile transition or continuing a stagnated SAFe or Spotify approach.
• Be able to train an organization to continue to improve on their own.
