Abstract:
Have you been surprised by unplanned events during your projects or programs? Are you and your project team frequently fighting fires? Well, you are not alone. Uncertainty exists in any project environment. While it’s impossible to predict project outcomes with 100% certainty, you can influence the outcome, avoid potential risks, and be ready to respond to challenges that arise.
In this presentation, you will learn the difference between Project and Program Risk Management and understand how they support one another. You will gain the knowledge to identify, assess, plan for, and monitor risk in your projects. You will also learn how to set up and implement risk management processes, helping you to minimize uncertainty and achieve more consistent, predictable outcomes as a result.
Speaker:
Keith Wilson is a Senior Consultant, Trainer and Coach with the International Institute for Learning as well as President of Agile Transformational LLC. Keith has over 25 years of successful management, business planning and consulting experience. Keith is a leader in Agile training, coaching and transitioning to Agile.
Keith’s Agile certifications include Certified Scrum Master and Product Owner, Kanban Management Professional and SAFe® Program Coach. Keith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Carleton University.
