Inspiring by Including - Diversity and Inclusion in Project Management
Webinar - details will be sent to registrants
Abstract:
Todays’ PMPs and BAs often need to improve their diversity intelligence and awareness that lead to an inclusive project team culture. Diversity intelligence, just like emotional intelligence, can be leveraged to enhance organizational and project success, improve team engagement and foster innovation.
The focus of this presentation is on providing project leaders with strategic diversity insight necessary to give us that competitive edge that lies within understanding and engaging those you lead – the key to harnessing the creative talent within is creating the ideal environment for innovation in the first place.
This presentation helps leaders use diversity intelligence to improve their project success. People from different backgrounds, cultures, countries, sexes, ages have different approaches to communication, motivation and idea creation – by expanding your awareness of diversity, you can create as much opportunity for people to feel empowered and watch innovation thrive as much as your team. As a project management professional, you can increase your knowledge and learn more about improving stakeholder relationships. In this presentation, you will learn to:
- interact with individuals in ways that work best for them
- read another person and determine how they want to be treated
- avoid conflict with others
- become more productive, save time, and avoid mistakes by connecting with others more effectively
- improve stakeholder relationships
