Event Details
The potential for an interruption of service or the loss of capital assets, including people, has been and continues to be a major concern among business managers and leaders across all industries. Natural and man- made disasters seem to be growing in frequency and intensity. Establishing and communicating a practical, concise, and easily communicated strategy for dealing with disasters and major business interruptions is an extremely important part of business planning. This session provides information and techniques that will assist an organization in developing a plan that will mitigate potential risk situations, educate employees and project team members about the importance of a planned and practiced disaster recovery process, and ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity procedures are practiced and updated regularly.

SPEAKER BIO
Frank P. Saladis, PMP, PMI Fellow is a Consultant, Instructor, a motivational speaker and an author within the discipline of project management.
He holds a Masters Certificate in Commercial Project Management from GWU and is a graduate of the Project Management Institute Leadership Masters Class.
Frank has held several positions within PMI, including President of the NYC Chapter, President of the Assembly of Chapter Presidents and Chair of the Education and Training SIG.
He is also the author of 12 published books and is the originator of International Project Management Day.
Mr. Saladis was recognized as PMI Person of the Year in 2006, PMI Fellow in 2013 and received the PMI Distinguished Contribution Award in October 2015.
