Share Your Expertise. Shape the Program. Inspire the Community.

PMI New York City Chapter (PMINYC) is seeking dynamic speakers for our Professional Development Conference (PDC) and ongoing programs throughout the year, including chapter meetings, career development sessions, and networking events.

We invite experienced practitioners, educators, subject matter experts, and thought leaders to submit a proposal. If you are passionate about sharing practical insights, real-world lessons, and emerging trends with a diverse audience ranging from early-career practitioners to seasoned leaders across industries, we want to hear from you! Speakers should be open to presenting in a variety of formats, including panels, keynotes, lightning talks, fireside chats, and workshops, available both in person and virtually.

Suggested Themes

We are actively collecting proposals that fall under the following themes. All submissions are welcome.

  • The Future of Data and Your Project Management Strategy: Practical applications, strategy, governance, and what is next within traditional project metrics and beyond AI.
  • Inter-Generational Project Management: Leading across experience levels, communication styles, and evolving expectations.
  • Elevating Your Project Team: Performance, culture, leadership, and tools that move teams from good to exceptional.

Why Speak at PMINYC?

Presenting at a PMINYC program is an opportunity to showcase your expertise and thought leadership, expand your professional visibility within the PMI community, contribute to the growth of fellow project professionals, and influence how project leaders learn, adapt, and lead in a changing environment.

Whether you bring case studies, frameworks, lessons learned, or innovative approaches, your perspective can make a meaningful impact.

As a PMINYC speaker, you'll enjoy:

  • Exposure to 4,300+ members and a broader audience of project professionals spanning PMI chapters across the country, with additional reach through our social media channels
  • A platform to share your expertise and build your personal brand
  • PDUs for Giving Back to the Profession for both your preparation and delivery time

The math is simple: 15 minutes equals 0.25 PDUs and 1 hour equals 1 PDU. Track your hours and self-report the activity through PMI. See the PMI Certification Handbook for full details.

Help us build a program that equips today's project professionals for tomorrow's challenges and showcases the talent, diversity, and vision of the PMINYC community.
