Networking Walk for PMs
Join us for a monthly walk series in a NYC park where PMINYC members can enjoy the outdoors while connecting with fellow project managers. Each walk is led by PMINYC Programs Volunteers. These events are free for members to attend, but space is limited to the first 25 registrants, so sign up early.
What to Expect
We will meet by Rainey Park at 9:45 AM and start promptly at 10:00 AM. We will start our walk in Long Island City and end in Astoria. The meeting location, walk path, event day details, and preparation tips will be sent to you after you register. Our walk is scheduled for Saturday, September 19th, with a rain date of Sunday, September 20th. If rain is in the forecast, keep an eye on your email for rain date details.
Getting Here / Plan Your Trip
Please plan your travel ahead of time. The N and W lines that serve Long Island City and Astoria often have weekend track work, and the MTA usually posts service changes only a few days in advance. We recommend checking the MTA website or app the night before and the morning of the walk, and giving yourself extra travel time so you can arrive by 9:45 AM.
Registration
RSVP for the Networking Walk for PMs by September 18, 2026. Due to limited capacity, registrants must confirm their attendance before the event. Unconfirmed spots will be released to members on the waitlist.
