Abstract:
As Global Projects increase, project managers are indicating the need for a sharpened skillset in several key knowledge areas. This webinar will provide participants with information on improving the critical skills necessary to bring global projects in on time, on budget and within the validated scope.
In this presentation, attendees will learn practical steps on how to prepare for a global project including the tips and traps for leading virtual meetings. You will also learn about the importance of establishing priorities for a global team and how to motivate a global team. Attendees will receive a take-away that provides resource recommendations to prepare the team for cultural differences.
Speaker:
Ed Lively is a Senior Consultant and Trainer with the International Institute for Learning. Ed has extensive project management experience and interpersonal skills across several industries. His broad level of experience includes operations, information technology, corporate finance, and process improvement.
Ed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science from the University of Houston and a Master’s Degree in Finance from Texas Tech University. Ed is enthusiastic about motivating and developing others and has taught thousands of managers, team members and executives from 32 industries and 16 countries.
