The discounted price is available to PMINYC members based on our reciprocal relationship with DAMA. You can register for the event on their website (dama-ny.com) by doing the following:

   - Go to the upper left and click on DAMA Day June 2023.

   - Click on "register now" and use "continue as guest".

   - Enter details and follow directions for adding credit card info.

   - Use code PMINYC to get the DAMA member rate (the normal non-member price is $249).

      Registration includes breakfast, lunch and admission to all sessions.

Many organizations have defined a primary goal of “To make data an enterprise asset”. Statistics have shown that this is a hugh challenge. Many organizations have so much data they do not know when or where it was created, how its defined or how to apply the right data to solve a business problem. The key to solving this challenge starts with Data Literacy.

Data Literacy is the ability to read, work with, analyze, and solve problems with data. Simply stated, data literacy means an organization is able to identify a question or situation clearly, know what data is needed for that issue and where to get the right data. It knows how to read / interpret that data, and how to use the results to solve that problem.  Without these skills, making data an enterprise asset is impossible.

“C” level managers, CDOs, CTOs and data professionals who attend DAMA Day 2023 can learn how to change to a “Data Driven Culture” by using techniques like Organization Change Management; how to go beyond Data Analytics to an environment that supports Data Empowerment through “Self Service” applications used by Data Scientists and Data Stewards.
