Park Pitch In Event: City of Forest Day
As part of the citywide celebration of City of Forest Day, the PMINYC chapter is proud to partner with the Prospect Park Alliance in a hands-on effort to restore and revitalize one of Brooklyn’s most cherished green spaces. Volunteers will have the rare opportunity to remove weeds and add mulch to the planted areas, contributing directly to the ecological health and beauty of the landscape.
This initiative not only supports urban reforestation, it invites the community to take part in meaningful stewardship of the park’s future. Together, we’ll root resilience, nurture biodiversity, and leave a lasting imprint on the forest canopy of tomorrow.

PMINYC has 15 volunteers slots available.
