Event Details
The Master Program Management course (PgM) is a comprehensive training class designed for project and program managers who want to learn and apply the latest concepts, domains, tools, and techniques in program management. Based on the latest edition of the Standard for Program Management, this course is a blend of concepts and good practices along with the practical experiences from PMO Advisory's consulting services. The course is conducted over eight hours of real-time meetings (organized into two sessions of 4 hours each), in addition to access to a vast library of pre-recorded materials and templates.
This course is for those want to learn and practice program management, and the approach is based on a combination of traditional lecturing of key concepts, discussion of scenarios and cases and examples, review of important artifacts, and sharing of experiences.
For those who wish to prepare for the Program Management Professional (PgMP) exam, this is not the right course. Please register for one of the PgMP Bootcamps (pre-recorded, ultral live virtual, and live virtual) in which that bootcamp provide access to the PgMP Exam Simulators in which we have over 3,300 questions (over 1,800 questions from the 4th edition and another 1,500 pilot questions based on the 5th edition).

(2) This offering includes a 30 day support package, which includes access to re-attending a similar class, an exam simulator, post course Q&A and access to a recording. Extensions to a 365 day support package and PgMP detailed application review can be discussed separately with PMO Advisory.
(3) If a class is canceled due to insufficient registrations, the registrant will have the option of a refund or transfer registration to a different PgM Live Virtual class.
Speaker Bio - Te Wu
Prof. Dr. Te Wu is the CEO and CPO of PMO Advisory, a consultancy and a PMI Authorized Training Partner. PMO Advisory is dedicated to project management, offering rare classes such as Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) and Program Management Professional (PgMP) bootcamps. He is also an Associate Professor at Montclair State University, and he previously taught at Stevens Institute of Technology and China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). With over 30 years of professional experience specializing in strategy execution, Te is certified in portfolio (PfMP), program (PgMP), project (PMP), and risk (PMI-RMP) management. Te holds multiple degrees including a doctoral, two masters, and two bachelor’s degrees in engineering, business, and philosophy.
Te is an avid volunteer with professional organizations, where he is currently serving as a chairperson for Project Management Institute’s (PMI) standard committee developing the next Standard for Portfolio Management (5th edition). He previously served on the Standard for Portfolio Management 4th Edition and The Standard for Risk Management in Portfolios, Programs, and Projects. In addition, he was a team lead on the US team working with the ISO Technical Advisory Group 258. He has published multiple books, research articles and case studies, and business articles. He is frequently mentioned in the press, appeared in podcasts, and spoke at professional forums. As a practitioner, executive, teacher, writer, and speaker, Dr. Wu enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences and networking with other professionals.
