Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Virtual Instructor-Led Training
Description: In working toward creating an agile culture, it’s about finding the right path and support. This CSM course provides a comprehensive review of everything scrum. It deep dives into the scrum framework, covering its history from origins to principles to how to apply it in practical settings. If you’ve ever wanted to know everything about scrum, this is the course for you. The experienced instructor will deliver invaluable information and engage you with interactive learning activities. By understanding all the components of scrum, you’ll be able to apply agile techniques to your product development.
Learning Objectives: After course completion, you’ll gain hands-on knowledge of scrum including:
• Scrum theory and principles
• How to use the scrum framework to support agile development practices
• Planning and tracking progress with scrum
• Defining shippable functionality
• Scrum roles and responsibilities: product owner, scrum master, and development team
• Scrum artifacts: product backlogs, sprint backlogs, and product increments
• Scrum events: sprints, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
• How to estimate and prioritize a product backlog
• Scaling across teams and geographies
• Tips and techniques of helping other stakeholders understand the advantages of scrum
• How to transition to scrum

• 16 hours of training - four half days (online)
• Access to course materials and resources.
• Includes 2 year membership with Scrum Alliance.
• Includes 2 attempts within 90 days after the student is registered with the Scrum Alliance
(after the 2nd attempt it is $25 to retake the exam).
