Mindful Readiness to Manage Change and Uncertainty Workshop

The workshop is offered in four one and a half hour sessions over four weeks. The format will be highly interactive with focus on exercises and dialog to anchor the content to the experience of participants. Participants will have the time between sessions to apply skills and formulate questions and issues to be addressed at the following session.

The following services will be provided by the Provider:
   •   Course facilitation
   •   Electronic workshop manual – annotated PPT presentation

Learning Objectives: The overall goal is to enable participants to minimize unnecessary stress and to be better able to manage conflict and expectations by cultivating cognitive readiness. Upon completing the workshop, participants will be able to:
   •   Identify the principal causes of unnecessary stress and failure in projects
   •   Practice formal & informal techniques to cultivate mindful awareness and manage stress
   •   Apply a process-oriented view to their work and relationships
   •   Apply mindful awareness and process thinking as foundation for emotional and social intelligences to better manage conflict and expectations in projects.

The workshop is for anyone with any level of experience in project management.

SPEAKER BIO

George Pitagorsky

George Pitagorsky is a globally recognized thought leader in project management and the application of mindful awareness and systems and process thinking in daily life. He takes a people centered, adaptive perspective. 

George has decades of experience in organizations and private practice. He has performed as an entrepreneur, executive, meditation teacher, product developer, management consultant, program and project manager, coach, speaker, and facilitator.

 He is a published author with four books and hundreds of articles on cognitive readiness, managing expectations and conflict as well as topics that address non-dual wisdom and meditation.

 His forty-plus years of meditation practice, yoga, and Tai Chi, and learning from masters from multiple traditions is woven together with practical experience into optimal living and performing.

The workshop will be completed on four dates- Thursday's from 7.00 to 8.30 PM: 01/21; 01/28; 02/04; 02/11/2021.
